Rays of sun.

So, I got to take pictures of the wife the other day after she got dressed for a performance and I realized a couple things. One, how lucky I am to have such a beautiful supportive wife. Eight months unemployed and she has stuck by me, through the depression, the mood swings and the terror of not finding a job. Second, she reminded me how much I love taking pictures, even though freelance work is down right now, ok, nearly nonexistent with the economy the way it is, it reminded me why I started taking pictures. I started photography in high school and have photographed a little of everything from SWAT breaking down doors in school shooting simulations to fires to fashion design. I worked as a photojournalist for nearly 6 years, and am currently out on my own, shooting contract work, weddings, portraits etc..
